The ANNIKA Foundation was founded in 2008 by Hall of Fame LPGA golfer Annika Sorenstam, widely regarded as the most dominant women’s professional golfer of all time. Throughout her storied career, Annika’s passion for health, fitness and nutrition – combined with her natural golf skills and her drive for excellence — were key ingredients leading to her enormous success in 15 years of professional golf. Annika stepped away from competitive golf at the end of the 2008 season with 89 worldwide victories, including 72 LPGA titles and 10 major championships, to focus on the work of the ANNIKA Foundation, which began its full-time operation in January 2009.
